VroomTown™ Malaysia is a massive, highly immersive automotive-themed indoor edutainment park spanning over 25,000 square feet on the Second Floor of Atria Shopping Gallery in Damansara Jaya, Petaling Jaya. Brought in by Singapore’s PeopleUp group, this mega “indoor drive-play city” allows children to get behind the wheel of miniature dual-passenger electric cars to navigate a realistic town simulation complete with traffic lights, a flyover, and interactive stops. It has rapidly become a premier attraction for local families looking for an energetic, purposeful, and educational rainy-day or weekend activity.
- Realistic Mini Driving Academy: The core experience starts at the Vroom Academy, where kids attend a brief 10-minute road safety and basic driving skill lesson. Once briefed, they take their electric cars onto a masterfully designed indoor street circuit featuring functioning traffic lights, intersections, an elevated flyover, and an underground rainbow tunnel.
- Interactive Real-World Stations: To make driving purposeful, the track layout includes realistic stops. Kids can pull up to the Vroom Pump to simulate refueling, navigate through a realistic Car Wash Station, and drive up to the Vroom Drive-Through where a surprise gift (like a small drink or portion of snack) is included right with their ticket.
- Role-Play Zones & Soft Playground: Away from the cars, the facility features a whole block of mini town storefronts—including a Post Office, Supermarket, Pet Clinic, and a Mechanic Workshop—where kids can engage in imaginative play. There is also a dedicated indoor soft playground featuring climbing structures, slides, and a giant themed ball pit for younger toddlers.
- Ticket Structures & Driver’s Licenses: First-time drivers are issued a Vroom Learner Pass (RM85) for a 1-hour session, which covers the safety briefing, car rental, entry for 1 child and 1 accompanying parent, and a physical, personalized VroomTown™ photo license card and lanyard. Returning kids who already hold their physical licenses can opt for the Vroom Driver Pass (RM75)
